Kaleidoscope
"I have been engaged in making what can be called "ornamental textile mosaics" for the last twelve years or so. It would not be quite accurate to call this work "patchwork". My motivation in them is always color. While collecting individual pieces of the mosaic together I often get results unexpected even for me just as in a kaleidoscope despite the fact, I always getting to actual work. That is the most interesting part of it for me. The process of creating each work is rather laborious and time-consuming. While I am busy with the technical implementation of the design, I usually start thinking over the design of a new one eager to start its realization."
